Microbiological community structure on logs used for groynes in a riverbank system

چکیده
Abstract It is important for civil engineering applications to investigate resistance wood decay in aqueous environments. DNA from microorganisms inhabiting logs (groynes) that had been used about 15 years as a water control system prevent riverbank erosion was extracted and the microbial community structure examined. specimens four sections, above under water, ground bottom parts of were pulled out river. Then, barcode sequences detection fungi bacteria amplified each sample by polymerase chain reaction. Microbes identified nucleotide sequences, relationships between microbes environmental conditions discussed. The section significantly decayed, while slight strength loss observed other sections. white-rot basidiomycete Xeromphalina sp. detected suggesting this fungal species responsible significant study. Wood sections including not decayed even though fungus all logs, could degrade underground where oxygen supply limited.

Analysis of a fluvial groynes system on hydraulic scale model
The paper presents the results of an experimental investigation of fluvial groynes conducted on a mobile bed scale model. The model reproduces a reach of the River Po, Italy, in which a series of groynes have been designed to improve navigability during dry periods. The experiments were conducted using light plastic material. The density and the grain size of the material were calibrated accord...

this study intends to investigate samuel beckett’s waiting for godot and endgame under the lacanian psychoanalysis. it begins by explaining the most important concepts of lacanian psychoanalysis. the beckettian characters are studied regarding their state of unconscious, and not the state of consciousness as is common in most beckett studies. according to lacan, language plays the sole role in ...
the effects of changing roughness on the flow structure in the bends
flow in natural river bends is a complex and turbulent phenomenon which affects the scour and sedimentations and causes an irregular bed topography on the bed. for the reason, the flow hydralics and the parameters which affect the flow to be studied and understand. in this study the effect of bed and wall roughness using the software fluent discussed in a sharp 90-degree flume bend with 40.3cm ...
Development of a Community-Based Care System Model for Senior Citizens in Tehran
In recent years a variety of system models for providing community based health care services for the elderly has been envisioned and implemented in the developed countries which meet the special care needs of different groups of elders. متن کاملA New DPC-SVM for Matrix Converter Used in Wind Energy Conversion System Based on Multiphase Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator
This paper proposes a novel wind energy conversion system based on a Five-phase Permanent Magnetic Synchronous Generator (5-PMSG) and a Five to three Matrix Converter (5-3MC). The low cost and volume and also eliminating grid side converter controller are attractive aspects of the proposed topology compared to the conventional with back-to-back converters. The control of active and reactive pow...
